What to Do If You Can’t Access Your Victron Product via Bluetooth

Some Victron products use a default Bluetooth PIN code of 000000, while others—especially newer models—come with a randomly generated 6-digit PIN code for security and safety reasons.

If you're unable to connect:

  1. Try entering 000000 as the Bluetooth PIN code.

  2. If that doesn’t work, physically locate the device and look for the 6-digit Bluetooth PIN code printed on the body of the product.

Here are a few examples of where to find the PIN code on different Victron devices…

Still Can’t Connect? Use the PUK Code to Reset the PIN Code

If:

  • 000000 doesn’t work, and

  • You can’t find the printed PIN code, or the one you found doesn’t work

Then you can reset the PIN code using the PUK code, which is also printed on the device.

Here’s how:

  1. In the VictronConnect app, go to the device list.

  2. Tap the three dots next to the device.

  3. Select “Reset PIN code”.

  4. Enter the PUK code from the body of the product.

  5. Follow the prompts to set a new Bluetooth PIN code.

Now you’ll be able to connect using your newly set PIN code.
